"In October of 2010, I was getting quotes on having my upper deck redone. I had the contractor that originally did my lower deck some 13 years earlier as well as another one recommended to me by a friend.

The next day another neighbor in my complex of 15 townhouses had work begun on his new upper and lower deck. Upon observing the work ethic and the way the team went about carefully unloading the lumber from a Lowe's truck and placing it on the property and then going about building the deck, I decided to contact them as well. It was Dave Hetrick of Exterior Concepts.  He gave me a quote which came in lower then the two I already had.
 
I watched as his foreman Andrew and his team went about each day building my neighbor's deck carefully and painstakingly keeping the mess of cut lumber etc. stowed away each night before they left.  They seemed to work non-stop each day without taking the usual "many" breaks that I have experienced with other workmen.
 
Well, that convinced me and I gave the job to Dave and the Exterior Concepts team.
